Travel and transfers – how to reach the Elephant & Cheetah Experience

Most guests arrive via Victoria Falls International Airport (VFA). From there, we provide a seamless transfer directly to your lodge or hotel.

Our transfer rate is $25 per person one way, and the drive takes approximately 20–25 minutes, depending on your accommodation.

If you are arriving from Livingstone, Zambia, we also offer cross-border transfers at $25 per person, excluding border fees.

Our activity locations are conveniently close to Victoria Falls town:

• Lion walks: Approximately 20 minutes total — 10 minutes on the main road and 10 minutes off-road into the private conservancy.
• Cheetah & Elephant Experiences: A quick 5–7 minute drive from town.

For safety and operational reasons, only guests participating in the activity are allowed to board the transfer vehicles.

Transfer times range between 10 and 30 minutes, depending on where you are staying in Victoria Falls.

All transfers are scheduled according to your flight arrival time to ensure minimal waiting.

Zimbabwe offers:

• Visa on arrival for many nationalities
• KAZA UniVisa (Zimbabwe–Zambia), available to most Western and SADC passport holders
• Standard Tourist Visa options for other nationalities

We recommend checking the latest visa information before travel or contacting us for guidance.

No mandatory vaccinations are required for entry into Zimbabwe.

However, we recommend:

• Routine travel vaccinations
• Malaria precautions, especially during rainy season
• Consulting your doctor at least 4–6 weeks before travel

Victoria Falls is a malaria zone, so mosquito repellent is advisable.

If you are flying into Victoria Falls on a commercial airline, standard luggage rules apply.

For helicopter flights or charter transfers, soft bags are recommended due to limited space.

We advise packing light, breathable clothing and comfortable walking shoes for activities.

We will provide exact pickup times with your booking confirmation.

Most morning activities begin between 6:30am – 9:00am, while afternoon activities start between 2:00pm – 3:00pm.

Please be ready 10 minutes before your scheduled pickup so we stay on time with other guests.

If your flight is delayed, our team will adjust your airport pickup time accordingly.

For cancellations or major changes, please contact us as soon as possible so we can reschedule your transfers or activities.
